We have pride in our state and we showcase the things that have made it great over the past 150 years. Be that a house made pie floater, classic shiraz from old vines in the Barossa, an ice cold Coopers Pale Ale or ice cream infused with Fruchocs we aim to deliver an experience unique to the CBD.

After being involved in numerous hotel takeovers and renovations both here an interstate Gareth takes the reins on the first investment project of his own. Adelaide born and bred (but having since done stints in Melbourne and Brisbane’s famed Fortitude Valley) Gareth drives our South Australian focus and aims to inject that into everything the Kings has to offer. Having managed a wide variety of venues from nightclubs to cafe’s he brings the experience needed to the table.

Aaron is the heartbeat of the Kings. Since inception, well, earlier than inception actually, Aaron holds the place together, second only in importance to gaffer tape. If you have ever visited us on a busy night then he is the man that makes your drinks, clears your table, served your food and then tells you when you have had too much. If he like’s you he will even order you a cab or call your partner! His breadth of knowledge is amazing. Just don’t try to order a jam doughnut from him.

Amanda has lead some of Adelaide’s busiest kitchens and brings with her a wealth of experience (and the motherly attitude all kitchens need!). With humour she oversees our small and passionate team of chefs and support kitchen crew. Focusing on simple, fresh flavours is a passion for Amanda as she involves the team in all aspects of menu planning. Whatever you do though, don’t call her a veteran!

Tori is our home-grown guru. Coming to the Kings in 2008 on the back of extensive ‘holidays’ and without a cent to her name she has grown into a driven leader with unflappable patience. In her time at the Kings she has held the hand of nervous brides, given countless nigh-on 21 year olds the time of their life (we mean a great party, yeah?) and carved a niche for herself that brings the regulars back, day in day out.

Shane is quite simply the most passionate man you will find behind the pine in any bar, anywhere on the planet! With an insatiable thirst for knowledge about all things quenching Shane is your man if you’re looking to match a wine to your food, a cocktail to your mood or just a beer to the weather. A growing palate has seen him take control of most things drink related in the hotel and you can all reap the rewards.
