Let us introduce your palate to venison from the Onkaparinga Valley, kingfish caught by some fella near Whyalla, a pie floater made from scratch right here in the building using ingredients like Clare Valley beef and Barossa Valley shiraz.
We also showcase iconic South Australian purveyors such as Beerenberg whose tomato sauce finishes the iconic floater, Alexandrina Cheese Co whose cheddar turns golden over schnitzels and the O’Connell Street Bakery, who bake 24 hours a day, 364 days a year!
The Den is our 50 seat a la carte dining room. The room is dominated by a raging open fireplace in winter and is opened up to the bustling street in summer. It also features the original water well as a feature of the room, preserved in history from a time past.
Be it a nervous first date for two or a celebratory group of forty, the Den is the perfect space to just relax and enjoy great food with great people.
The Kings Bar serves up the same great menu in a more casual environment. Order and pay as you go at the bar and enjoy the decked booths on King William Street to really do some serious people watching while you dine.
The extensive ‘peckish portions’ part of our menu (kinda like tapas but hey, we aren’t exactly in Spain) is perfect for mixing and matching and sharing with the object or your affection or workmates at the end of the day.
The scent of pizza fills the bar each and every Friday afternoon as cheffy’s famous house made pizzas accompany the after-work crowd in their quest to “unwind”. Only $5 from 4-7pm!
