You should be getting the gist but we serve ONLY 100% South Australian brews on tap and in bottles. Our eight taps rotate regularly but always feature SA’s finest, Coopers, and seasonally include brews from some of the countries finest micro-brewers.

Otherwise know as the “mothers milk of SA”, it runs in our veins and is the best brew in Oz. It is the first pour at all of the Kings bars of course. Pale, Sparkling, Dark Ale or Larger….. its simply the best.

So wrote Thomas Cooper to his brother John in England, after establishing his brewing business in the new colony of South Australia in 1862.
Coopers Brewery produce a range of Ales,Stouts and Lagers.
Our ale range is brewed by a method of top fermentation, originating in the Middle Ages. Coopers uses only natural ingredients including malt, hops, sugar, water and a special yeast strain that's over 90 years old. Coopers do not use preservatives or chemicals in their ale range.
Coopers also produce Stout and Lager beers. The Lager beers are bottom fermented in cooler conditions, matured for a short period and pasteurised
Lobethal Bierhaus
The Lobethal Bierhaus opened for business on 26th May 2007. Their operation includes a small all-grain micro brewery (12 Hecto-Litre Brew Length) with accompanying cellar door tasting facilities, off-license bottle sales and a restaurant with matching beer themed foods built around unique local produce. This award winning microbrewery supplies the Kings with fresh brews like the Bohemiam Pilsner, Hefferviezen and Red Truck Porter.
Steam Exchange Brewery
The Steam Exchange Brewery in Goolwa ranges beers from their flagship “Steam Ale” variety, through to India Pale Ales, strong dark English Ales, and Stout. A commitment to quality and the local community earns their place on tap at the Kings.
Gulf Brewery
The Gulf Brewery is a microbrewery south of Adelaide. They provide boutique beers that are sold through selected hotels, bars and restaurants around South Australia and Victoria. Ranging from a European style pilsner to an English style pale ale they make interesting beers for interesting people.
