You should be getting the gist but we serve ONLY 100% South Australian brews on tap and in bottles. Our eight taps rotate regularly but always feature SA’s finest, Coopers, and seasonally include brews from some of the country’s finest micro-brewers.

Coopers

Otherwise known as the “mother’s milk of SA”, it runs in our veins and is not only the largest family owned brewery on Australia but we think the best brew in Oz. It is the first pour at all of the Kings bars of course. Pale, Sparkling, Dark Ale or Larger….. it’s simply the best.
'We are now engaged in the Brewery business....'
So wrote Thomas Cooper to his brother John in England, after establishing his brewing business in the new colony of South Australia in 1862.
Coopers Brewery produce a range of Ales, Stouts and Lagers.
Our ale range is brewed by a method of top fermentation, originating in the Middle Ages.  Coopers uses only natural ingredients including malt, hops, sugar, water and a special yeast strain that's over 90 years old.  Coopers do not use preservatives or chemicals in their ale range.

Lobethal Bierhaus

The Lobethal Bierhaus opened for business on 26th May 2007. Their operation includes a small all-grain micro brewery (12 Hecto-Litre Brew Length) with accompanying cellar door tasting facilities, off-license bottle sales and a restaurant with matching beer themed foods built around unique local produce. This award winning microbrewery supplies the Kings with fresh brews like the Bohemiam Philsner, Hefferviezen and Red Truck Porter.
